Salil Dhawan is a published author and belongs to Ludhiana
city of Punjab state in India.
He has been writing since childhood and has constantly written editorials
and articles on variety of topics ranging from political,social to economics,stock market etc.
He has won lot of laurels in writing field,most significant being 'Certificate
of Merit' from India's Leading Daily 'Hindustan Times' for excellence in writing.
Presently he is pursuing his Master's in India after completing his graduation
in Information Technology Engineering.
'THE GOPHER' is his first mystery novel which is published by Publish America
and he has co-authored it with Rebecca Baxter.
The first chapter begins with a crime scene where a
young girl is murdered on her way home from work late one night.
The girl's life-long friend and editor-in-chief
of a local newspaper - Thomas Sakali - is determined to bring the girl's murderer to justice. With the help of his fellow
staff members at the newspaper, The Gopher, they dig for clues to the crime. Suspicion is cast on everyone they meet including
the lead detective on the case, the detective's wife, and the city coroner. Soon Thomas realizes he can't trust anyone, not
even his friends at The Gopher.
THE GOPHER is very special to him as he has co authored it with
hisfriend Rebecca Baxter who is originally from California,U.S.A.Even though they are distance apart ( India
and U.S.A) but they never let it hamper their work.They make a very good team and you can look forward to more books
from them side in future.
